As a lawyer, Mohammed Zian defended several Moroccan political opponents, including Nasser Zefzafi, one of the main figures of the popular movement in the Rif between 2016 and 2017, journalist Taoufik Bouachrine, former director of the independent daily Akhbar al-Yaoum, and Hamid El Mahdaoui, director of the Moroccan news website Badil.info.

Mazen Dafallah est un ressortissant soudanais arrivé au Maroc il y a près d’un an dans l’espoir de rejoindre un pays de l’Union européenne.
Tôt dans la matinée du 24 juin, près de 2 000 migrants, dont Dafallah, ont tenté de franchir la frontière entre le Maroc et l’enclave espagnole de Melilla.
Les forces de sécurités espagnoles et marocaines ont alors eu recours à la force afin de prévenir tout franchissement de la frontière, matérialisée par de hautes clôtures à mailles métalliques.

Early in the morning of June 24, nearly 2,000 migrants, including Dafallah, attempted to cross the border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla. A.O. is a Sudanese national from the Darfur region. He arrived in Morocco in 2021 in hopes of reaching a European Union country in which he would apply for asylum.
Early in the morning of June 24, 2022, nearly 2,000 migrants, including A.O., attempted to cross the border between Morocco and the Spanish enclave of Melilla.
