Timeline
March 12, 2025: MENA Rights Group and the European Saudi Organisations for Human Rights request an Opinion from the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention.
              February 25, 2025: The SCCA sentences Mohammad al-Faraj once again to the death penalty for the same charges.
              December 5, 2024: The case of Mohammad al-Faraj is suddenly reopened for a re-trial before the SCCA and his death sentence suspended pending a new verdict.
              March 30, 2024: The SCCA upholds the sentence for the second time.
              August 2023: The Supreme Court sends the case back to the SCCA for unknown reasons.
              March 9, 2023: The verdict is confirmed by the SCCA.
              October 2, 2022: The SCC sentences Mohammad al-Faraj to the death penalty.
              September 16, 2019: Mohammad al-Faraj is brought before the SSC and handed a list of charges.
